This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
No problem. OpenCL is maintained by Khronos by the way, the same people who make OpenGL, not Apple.
Just saying (and this is going to make me seem like a hypocrite) but I'm going to make a game engine in C++ in the future, but it's just for education purposes. I've been trying to make one for years now, but I always keep giving up. If you want to make one yourself, I recommend watching videos from the GDC, watching slideshows from Insomniac Games and reading the book by the lead programmer of Naught Dog on game engines. It just makes everything harder when you learn how the simplest thing can be optimized more.
I still use and will always will use GM for my side projects though. It makes everything funner.
I hear ya. I've been working on one myself too. Learning the Neon Tutorials about incorporating OpenGL. It's really demanding since I've got the same problem like you... I let it sit and rest, and after a while the source outdates ;/ I might look into GDC, thanks for the idea.
Hi there! I saw your post on the GM forums, but this site is more familiar to me. I'm working on a late SNES-style RPG (think FFVI). Would you be interested in helping with the sprite art, or is that outside your area of interest?
